SALEM — In a playful public appeal Monday, the Salem Police Department took to social media to engage the community in a guessing game about recent mischief, ultimately revealing a search for two individuals connected to a theft at a local Ulta Beauty store last month.
The department’s post teased various scenarios of misbehavior to capture the attention of residents, including the possibility of someone doing vehicle donuts in the police station parking lot, an exclusive picnic, or an insult to an officer’s uniform.
However, the underlying message was serious: police were seeking information about two people who allegedly stole items from the beauty retailer.
Authorities have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
Officer Gomez is the point of contact for tips, which can be provided by calling 603-893-1911.
The department expressed gratitude for the community’s support and gave a special shout-out to an individual named Dan for enhancing the photos of the suspects, further highlighting the collaboration between police and the community.
The Salem Police Department encourages anyone with knowledge of the suspects’ identities or whereabouts to come forward to aid in the investigation.
