HOPKINTON — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in an accident on Ashaway Road at Chase Hill Road, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Hopkinton Police Department.
At around 5:04 p.m. Monday, emergency services received several 911 calls about the incident, which involved a single motorcycle with one rider.
Upon arrival, first responders found the male motorcyclist with significant injuries.
The injured man was promptly attended to and transported to Westerly Hospital by Ashaway Ambulance for treatment.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the individual involved and are currently appealing to the public for witnesses.
