FAIRFIELD — A domestic dispute on Mountain Laurel Road ended in violence late Friday night, when a suspect allegedly stabbed their partner multiple times, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 11:09 p.m. and found the victim with serious injuries.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, is now in stable condition.
The suspect was arrested and charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Assault 1st Degree, and Disorderly Conduct.
They were held on bond and appeared in Bridgeport Superior Court this morning.
The Fairfield Police Department is withholding the name of the accused to protect the victim’s privacy.
