PUTNEY — A woman from Enfield, New Hampshire, faces multiple charges including cruelty to a child after being caught driving over 100 mph on Interstate 91, Vermont State Police reported.
Nicole Barton, 28, was arrested on April 14 after a trooper clocked her vehicle speeding at 102 mph on I-91 northbound.
The traffic stop revealed four passengers in the car, among them a four-year-old child.
Barton now faces charges of negligent operation, reckless endangerment, and cruelty to a child.
She was processed at the Westminster Barracks and released with a citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on June 25 at 8:30 a.m.
