BENNINGTON — Vermont State Police have issued arrest warrants for James A. Gathright Jr., 56, on charges of aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault with no consent, linked to incidents on Northside Drive in Bennington in September.
Authorities allege Gathright sexually assaulted a female on Northside Drive and a juvenile female days later on the nearby rail trail.
A Bennington County Superior Court judge has signed the warrants.
Described as Black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds, Gathright was last seen in Bennington in November.
Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Vermont State Police at Shaftsbury at 802-442-5421.
