MORETOWN — A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning led to the arrest of a Waterbury man on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Vermont State Police were called to the scene on US Rt 2 at 5:28 a.m. where they discovered that 34-year-old Stephen Anderson had been involved in an accident.
Anderson, the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle, had already been given a ride to his home before troopers arrived.
Upon interviewing Anderson at his residence, troopers noted signs of impairment.
After screening, Anderson was arrested for DUI and taken to the Berlin barracks for processing.
Anderson was released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court on May 2.
