RANDOLPH — Vermont State Police arrested a 31-year-old transient woman for retail theft at a Dollar General store on April 11.
According to authorities, the theft occurred at the Dollar General located at 105 VT Route 12 S.
Police received the theft report at approximately 5:02 p.m. and quickly identified Cheyenne L.
Batchelder as the suspect.
Batchelder was apprehended at a nearby store in possession of the stolen merchandise.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
Following her arrest, Batchelder was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in the Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division to face the theft charges.
