TROY — Vermont State Police have launched a search for 75-year-old Roy Rivers, who was reported missing after he left his home in a vehicle earlier today.
Authorities were alerted at 3:47 p.m. that Rivers had departed in a 2009 tan Chevrolet Silverado with a tan truck cap, without disclosing his destination.
Concerns for Rivers’ welfare have intensified as his intended travel direction remains unknown. The state police at the Derby Barracks are leading the search efforts and have released a photograph of Rivers and his vehicle to aid in his location.
Officials are urging anyone with information that could assist in locating Rivers to contact the Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881.
