SALEM — A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing after he walked away from St. Joseph’s School earlier today has been found safe, according to the Salem Police Department.
J. Hernandez was last seen at around 12:30 p.m. wearing a green St. Joseph’s sweatshirt and tan pants, possibly accompanied by a green St. Joseph’s polo.
The police issued an urgent appeal to the public, asking for assistance in locating Hernandez and urging anyone with information to call dispatch at 603-893-1911.
After hours of searching, Salem officers successfully located the young boy.
He was found unharmed and has since been reunited with his family.
The police have not released additional details about where Hernandez was found or the circumstances of his disappearance at this time.
