Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office reports multiple arrests, incidents over two-week span

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Over the span of two weeks, from March 17 to March 30, the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office logged several arrests and a variety of incidents across the region.

Nicole Greenleaf, 40, of St Albans, was arrested on charges of refusing to submit to arrest, possession of a scheduled drug, and operating under the influence (OUI).

Julia Simpson, 35, of Newburgh, faces charges for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and was also arrested on a warrant.

Travis Gustin, 44, from Sangerville, and Gloria Smith, 50, from Williamsburg Twp, were both arrested on warrant charges.

Other individuals arrested during this period include Justin Finkle, 42, of Brownville, charged with OUI; Cody Andrews, 33, also from Brownville, on a warrant arrest; Kelly Slobuszewski, 42, of Lagrange, charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs; Logan Bui, 36, of Guilford, for violation of condition of release; and Jared Atkinson, 23, of Dover-Foxcroft, charged with driving to endanger.

The Sheriff’s Office also reported harassment charges against James Lockwood, 72, and Louis Duquette, 54, both of Dover-Foxcroft.

Johnathan Mcmillen, 19, of Parkman, was charged with criminal threatening.

In addition to arrests, the Sheriff’s Office issued six traffic infraction citations and responded to numerous incidents, including multiple motor vehicle accidents with injuries, family fights, welfare checks, and property damage accidents.

Suspicious activity, scams, harassing behavior, and threatening situations were also recorded across various towns.

The Sheriff’s Office provided assistance in several motor vehicle accidents resulting in injuries in Sangerville, Guilford, and Parkman.

They also assisted other law enforcement agencies and motorists with broken down vehicles or those locked out of their vehicles.

Throughout the two-week period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a number of alarms, including burglary alarms in Atkinson, Blanchard Twp, Guilford, and Sangerville.

They also dealt with several E911 misdials and hang-up calls.

The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office continues to ensure public safety and address criminal activities throughout the county.
