REVERE — Multiple felony charges were filed against a Revere resident for an armed robbery that took place at the Wonderland Convenience Store at 1247 North Shore Rd, on March 29.
The Revere Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division’s Major Crimes Unit, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Jaquan Barrows, 26, of Revere on April 5.
Execution of a search warrant by detectives resulted in the recovery of a loaded 9mm handgun with a high capacity magazine and 14 rounds of ammunition.
This weapon is believed to be the one used during the robbery.
Clothing matching the description of what was worn during the incident was also found.
Barrows is suspected in two other recent incidents in Everett, including another armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery.
He will be arraigned today in Chelsea District Court on several charges, including armed robbery while masked, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm without an FID card, and illegal possession of a high capacity round magazine.
