FALMOUTH — Maine State Police are appealing to the public for further details regarding a hit-and-run collision involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 95 near mile marker 54 on March 28 at about 6 a.m.
Authorities report that one of the tractor-trailers involved in the crash departed the scene before law enforcement could conduct interviews.
The incident caused traffic disruptions during the early morning hours, and investigators are keen to gather more information to aid in their ongoing investigation.
Trooper Field is leading the inquiry and has requested that anyone who might have been involved or witnessed the event, or who has any information pertinent to the case, to come forward.
