BRIDGEPORT — A late-night shooting on March 30 left two men dead and two others injured at an East End neighborhood intersection, Bridgeport Police reported.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Stratford Avenue and Logan Street at about 11:15 p.m. following calls about multiple gunshot victims.
Upon arrival, three individuals were found with gunshot wounds outside 1542 Stratford Avenue.
Shortly thereafter, a fourth victim sought treatment at a local hospital for similar injuries.
Emergency medical services transported the trio from the scene to nearby hospitals, where two of the victims succumbed to their injuries early in the morning.
The deceased have been identified as two Bridgeport men, ages 30 and 32.
Their next of kin have been notified.
The Bridgeport Police Department’s Homicide Squad is leading the investigation, with the Forensic Identification Unit processing the crime scene and collecting evidence.
Initial findings suggest that this incident is isolated and not connected to other ongoing investigations.
