SPRINGFIELD — In a case of alleged theft, the Springfield Police Department has charged a local man with petit larceny after he reportedly stole a television from a community building.
Authorities responded to a call from Turning Point on Morgan Street at around 10:56 a.m. on March 20, where a male subject in a red coat was seen taking a television and heading up Morgan Hill.
Officer Guzzo and Cpl. Perkins were dispatched to investigate the incident.
After thorough investigation, the police found evidence suggesting that Brandon Heist was responsible for the theft.
Heist was later issued a criminal citation to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, in White River Junction on May 21 at 8 a.m. to respond to the charge.
