THETFORD — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 northbound at mile marker 81.8 resulted in a Brownington man receiving a citation on March 25.
At approximately 5:18 p.m., Vermont State Troopers were dispatched to the scene of the crash where they found a 2009 Subaru Forester that had collided with a guardrail before coming to rest in a snowbank in the median.
The vehicle sustained minor damage.
The operator, identified as 55-year-old Jeffery Jeannette, was not at the scene when troopers arrived.
He was later located at his residence in Brownington.
An investigation concluded that Jeannette had failed to stop after the crash.
No injuries were reported, and road conditions were dry with clear weather at the time of the incident.
