CAVENDISH — A Cavendish woman was arrested on charges of domestic assault after Vermont State Police responded to a family disturbance call on Friday evening.
Authorities said they received the report around 8:18 p.m. from a family member at a residence on Old County Road.
An investigation at the scene indicated that Breanna A. Flores, 28, had caused physical pain to a relative during an altercation.
Flores was taken into custody and processed at the Westminster Barracks.
She has been cited with domestic assault and is slated to appear before the Vermont Superior Court in the Windsor Criminal Division on April 1 at 12:30 p.m.
The Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident.
