NEWINGTON — Two men have been arrested in connection with a January burglary at a local audio store, authorities reported Wednesday.
The Newington Police Department apprehended Pasquale Sanseverino, 49, and Michal Rivera, 42, following an investigation into the break-in at New England Audio and Tinting on the Berlin Turnpike.
The incident, which occurred in the early morning hours of Jan. 14, involved a vehicle being driven into the building to shatter the front glass window, allowing entry.
Detectives linked Rivera and Sanseverino to the crime, alleging that the duo entered through the damaged window and stole stereo equipment.
Rivera, apprehended on March 25, faces multiple charges, including two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny, first-degree criminal mischief, and conspiracy to commit first-degree criminal mischief.
He was held on a $100,000 bond and arraigned in GA-15 on March 26.
Sanseverino was arrested on March 28 and faces the same slate of charges as Rivera.
He also was held on a $100,000 bond and arraigned in GA-15 on the day of his arrest.
