WEST HAVEN — A two-car collision resulted in one vehicle striking a building Thursday evening.
West Haven Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel were called to the corner of Park Street and Campbell Avenue around 7 p.m. for the motor vehicle accident.
Mike’s Pizza was hit by one of the vehicles, causing only minor damage to the establishment.
A building official has been dispatched to the scene to assess the structural integrity of the pizza shop.
The extent of injuries, if any, was not immediately known.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
