ALBANY — Vermont State Police responded to a trespassing complaint on New Street where they encountered Charles Baker, 36, of Albany.
During the investigation, troopers determined that Baker had failed to comply with the regulations of the Sex Offender Registry.
As a result, Baker was issued a criminal citation for the violation.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the nature of the trespassing complaint or specific aspects of the registry regulations Baker failed to meet.
The Vermont State Police continue to handle the ongoing investigation.
