SOMERVILLE — In a series of incidents, Somerville Police are investigating multiple assaults and property crimes that have occurred over the past week, officials said.
On March 20 at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were called to a Broadway location after receiving reports of an assault.
A juvenile victim reported being attacked by four classmates earlier in the day at school, sustaining facial and knee injuries.
The following day, March 21, at around 2:56 p.m., another juvenile victim told officers that he was punched multiple times in the face by another male while meeting with a friend on Highland Ave.
Additionally, on March 25 at about 9:07 a.m., a resident on Washington St reported a breaking and entering incident.
The victim discovered upon returning home that furniture had been moved and cash was missing from his wallet.
Police are also investigating several other crimes in the area, including one bike theft, one package theft, two motor vehicle vandalisms, two other acts of vandalism, one car break-in, and one motor vehicle theft.
The Somerville Police Department is urging anyone with information related to these incidents to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigations.
