NASHUA — The Nashua Police Department has arrested 31-year-old Jony Burgos Santiago of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, on multiple charges including Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault and Second Degree Assault; Strangulation.
On March 19, a female victim reported to police that she was physically and sexually assaulted by Santiago, whom she identified.
Following the report, detectives from the Special Investigations Division conducted an extensive investigation leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.
Santiago subsequently turned himself in on the warrant.
He was released on $340 cash bail and is scheduled for arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on April 30, at 2:00 p.m.
