Boston police seek public’s help to ID suspects in Roxbury assault

BOSTON — Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two individuals connected to an aggravated assault that occurred around 3:30 p.m. on March 15 in the Roxbury neighborhood.

The incident took place near the intersection of King Street and Malcolm X Boulevard.

The first suspect, a woman believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, is described as having a medium build and was last seen wearing a blue head scarf, blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue or gray pants, and black and white sneakers.

The second suspect, a man approximately 40 to 50 years old with a medium build, was reported wearing a black Chicago Bulls hat with a white pin, a black jacket with a red hoodie featuring a distinct logo with yellow, red sweatpants, and black sneakers.

Authorities have disclosed that the male suspect displayed a firearm during the incident, while the female suspect threatened the use of mace.

The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the event.
