NEW LONDON — On Monday, at approximately 2:07 p.m., the New London Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Colman St. and Ashcraft Rd.
Officers who arrived at the scene found evidence corroborating the reports of gunfire.
Members of the Investigative Services Division were dispatched to the location, where they collected evidence, processed the scene, and conducted a canvass of the surrounding neighborhood.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
