AUBURN — The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office has successfully identified a male suspect involved in a theft at the Turner Big Apple convenience store, thanks to public assistance.
Deputy Zachary West initially released photos of the suspect and a vehicle believed to be a Subaru Outback station wagon connected to the crime, requesting help from the community.
The images were circulated in an effort to locate and speak with the man about the incident.
Following the appeal, the Sheriff’s Office announced the individual’s identification, however, details regarding the suspect’s identity have not been disclosed to the public at this time.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office expresses gratitude to those who responded with information and continues to encourage anyone with further details about the theft to contact Deputy West at 207-753-2599.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to resolve the case.
