WINDSOR — An 80-year-old woman with dementia who was reported missing earlier today has been found safe, according to the Windsor Police Department.
Vergina Cotterell had last been seen leaving her home on Bloomfield Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. She was reported to be wearing blue pajamas when she disappeared.
The police issued a statement thanking the public for their assistance in locating Cotterell.
Further details on where or how she was found have not been released.
The Windsor Police Department had earlier urged anyone with information on Cotterell’s whereabouts to contact them at (860) 688-5273.
The department has not provided additional comments following the resolution of the case.
