REVERE — In an effort to curb drug-related issues within the city, Revere Police Patrol Division’s proactive patrols last night resulted in significant narcotics seizures and the arrest of two men on trafficking charges.
During the operation, officers confiscated 24 grams of fentanyl and 44 grams of cocaine, along with $909.00 in cash.
The substances, deemed dangerous and illegal, were found in areas known for drug-related problems.
Andres Perez, 31, of Revere, faces charges of trafficking in fentanyl and cocaine.
Allban Ramadani, 27, of Auburn, was charged with trafficking in cocaine.
The arrests reflect the department’s ongoing commitment to combat the distribution of narcotics in the community.
Both Perez and Ramadani were taken into custody without incident and are expected to face the charges in court.
The Revere Police Department continues its investigation into the case and is determined to take decisive action against those involved in the narcotics trade.
