WHITMAN — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole a car from the Cumberland Farms Store/Gas Station at the intersection of Rt. 18 & Rt. 27 on March 24.
The Whitman Police Department reported that the individual arrived at the location on a small BMX-style bicycle before taking the opportunity to enter and drive away with a vehicle while the owner was inside the store.
Authorities have successfully recovered the stolen vehicle, however, the suspect remains at large.
Surveillance images of the person of interest have been released in hopes that community members can assist in the identification process.
