WESTMINSTER — A power outage has left 185 customers without electricity in Westminster early this morning, with National Grid reporting that the blackout began at 3:18 a.m. due to a downed tree that brought a telephone pole and wires across the road.
Affected streets include Bean-Porridge-Hill Road, Ashburnham Road, White-Pine Drive, Bean-Porridge Road, Rock-Maple Lane, Potato-Hill Road, Fred-Smith Road, Ashburnham-State Road, and Bean-Porridge Hill.
The estimated duration of the outage is roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Additionally, an emergency road closure has been implemented on Bean Porridge Hill Road from 135-141 due to the tree and associated debris.
Residents are advised to exercise caution in the area and seek alternate routes where possible.
