NORWOOD — A tree toppled onto a vehicle Monday morning at the Windsor Gardens apartment complex, prompting a swift response from local emergency services.
According to the Norwood Police Department, officers, alongside Norwood Fire Department personnel, arrived at the scene on Buckminster Drive by Lansdowne Way around 10 a.m. after receiving reports of the incident.
The operator and passenger of the vehicle affected by the fallen tree did not sustain serious injuries.
Authorities are advising residents to steer clear of the area as crews work diligently to remove the tree and clear the roadway.
