BOSTON — Officers from the A-7 division arrested a 43-year-old Boston man on drug and breaking and entering charges late Saturday night after discovering him in an abandoned building with a significant amount of crack cocaine.
At around 10 p.m. on March 16, patrol officers spotted a light inside an empty structure on Maverick Street.
Upon closer inspection, they found a broken window and entered the building, where two individuals were inside.
During the arrest of one of the men, officers found a plastic bag containing what appeared to be crack cocaine, which weighed approximately 10.2 grams upon further investigation.
In addition to the drugs, police also seized $650 in cash.
Samuel Junta was taken into custody and faces charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime and possession with intent to distribute class B substances.
His arraignment is scheduled at the East Boston District Court.
