NORWOOD — At approximately 12:37 p.m., Norwood Police and Norwood Fire Department units responded to a reported crane collapse at the intersection of Bahama Drive and Neponset Street.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found a crane had toppled onto a building under construction within the Nassau Gardens complex.
Norwood Fire Department personnel quickly assisted in the evacuation of residents from the affected building.
Officials confirmed that there were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The scene was secured and an investigation into the cause of the crane collapse is ongoing, according to authorities.
