SHOREHAM — A Middlebury man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle into a guardrail on Vermont Route 74 near Audet Road, authorities said.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were called to the scene of the single-vehicle accident at 9:19 p.m. on March 14.
Upon arrival, they found 31-year-old Andrew Malzac near his damaged vehicle.
The subsequent investigation led to Malzac’s arrest.
He was taken to the New Haven Barracks for processing and later released with a citation to appear in court at a future date to face the DUI charge.
