Man charged in Bennetts Store burglary in Duxbury

DUXBURY — A 57-year-old Plymouth man has been identified as the suspect in the March 11 burglary of Bennetts Store at 136 Tremont Street, according to the Duxbury Police Department.

Michael Tumer will be charged with breaking and entering a building at night, attempt to break into a depository, malicious destruction of property, and larceny from a building.

On Monday, officers responded to the store after the burglary was reported.

Sergeant Matfeo and Officer Broderick secured the scene and began the investigation, with Detectives Flynn and Mann arriving to assist.

Within a few days, detectives were able to identify Tumer as the suspect in the case.
