HULL — The Hull Police Department is warning residents, particularly the elderly, of a scam involving someone posing as a daughter or son claiming to be in jail and in need of bail money.
Scammers often use software to emulate voices close to or similar to the person they are trying to impersonate.
Police urge residents not to give out any personal information and to report any incidents or scams to the department.
