Man arrested for felony domestic assault with firearm in Montpelier

MONTPELIER — The Montpelier Police Department responded to a domestic assault complaint at 23 Cummings Street at approximately 3:04 p.m. on March 7.

The investigation determined that Jordan Godin, 28, of Barretown, allegedly brandished a firearm while threatening harm to a former domestic partner.

Godin was taken into custody and transported to the Montpelier Police Department for processing.

A Vermont Superior Court Judge set bail at $2,500.

Godin was transported and lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury for lack of bail.

He will be arraigned on March 8 in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
