DORCHESTER — Three juvenile males, ages 14, 15 and 16, were arrested on firearm and armed robbery charges Thursday.
At about 2 p.m., officers assigned to District C-11 responded to a report of an armed robbery with a firearm in the area of 157 Washington Street.
Officers were provided a description of three suspects and located them on the fourth floor of a building.
As officers approached, the suspects fled and a foot pursuit ensued.
Two of the suspects were stopped leaving the rear of the building, and the third was apprehended a short distance away.
Officers retraced the flight path of the suspects and recovered a SCCY CPx2 firearm with one round in the chamber and nine rounds in the magazine.
All three juveniles were charged with delinquent to wit; unlawful possession of a firearm, delinquent to wit; unlawful possession of ammunition, and delinquent to wit; armed robbery.
They are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
