BOSTON — A 25-year-old Brookline woman was shot and killed by a Boston man who then killed himself at a hotel on Tremont Street on Monday, police said.
Officers responding to 240 Tremont St. around 12:21 p.m. found Aanya Vinay and Keith Ashby, 43, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Vinay’s death a homicide and determined Ashby shot and killed her before taking his own life.
