ADDISON — A local man was cited for aggravated disorderly conduct following an incident on March 1 in Addison.
At approximately 12:48 p.m., Vermont State Troopers received a call from Shawn Collette, 55, of Addison, reporting he was assaulted by Michael Bennett, 59, also of Addison, at a residence on Vermont Route 22A.
An investigation revealed that Collette was the aggressor in the situation, and that he engaged in violent, threatening, tumultuous behavior toward Bennett with the intent to disturb his peace.
On March 5, Collette was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
