Reading man arrested on multiple domestic violence charges

READING — In the early hours of Thursday, Vermont State Police arrested 44-year-old Jacob Waters following a reported domestic assault at a residence in Reading.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to the incident at approximately 12:23 a.m. and determined there was probable cause to charge Waters with domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, and reckless endangerment.

Waters, a resident of Reading, was taken into custody without details of the victim being released, in adherence to Vermont State Police policy on domestic violence incidents.

He is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Windsor County Criminal Division on March 4 at 12:30 p.m. Waters is currently held on $1,000 bail pending his court appearance.
