LONDONDERRY — Vermont State Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on March 3 at 8:18 p.m. on Spring Hill Road.
Upon arrival, authorities found that Moises Monteiro, 52, from Bethpage, New York, had lost control of his 2011 BMW 328i, leaving the roadway.
During the investigation, police determined that Monteiro was operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs.
He was arrested on suspicion of DUI drugs.
Monteiro was taken to Westminster Barracks for processing and was later released with a criminal citation.
He is set to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on May 21 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the DUI drugs charge.
