SPRINGFIELD — In a late-night response to a domestic dispute, Springfield police apprehended Zeegar Flamma III, a man wanted on an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire.
The incident unfolded on Feb. 25 when authorities were alerted to a situation involving a woman and her boyfriend at approximately 11:25 p.m. Upon investigation, officers Clark and Freeman identified the boyfriend as Flamma and discovered his outstanding warrant.
Flamma was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility.
He was lodged on $10,000 bail.
A citation was issued to Flamma to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, the following day, Feb. 26, at 12:30 p.m. to respond to charges as a Fugitive from Justice.
The Springfield Police Department extended its gratitude to the Vermont State Police and the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance in the apprehension.
