DRACUT — The Dracut Police Department, led by Chief Peter Bartlett, is urging the community to come forward with any information regarding an incident where a woman was found seriously injured on Pleasant Street.
Police responded to a call near 23 Pleasant St. on Monday, Feb. 26, at about 10:24 p.m., where they discovered a 33-year-old woman lying in the roadway with severe injuries.
The injured woman received immediate medical attention on the scene and was transported to a local hospital.
She was later moved to a trauma center in the Boston area for further treatment.
As the investigation continues, the circumstances surrounding the woman’s injuries remain unclear.
Dracut Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with knowledge about the event to contact the department at 978-957-2123 to assist in the inquiry.
