CARVER — Police Chief Marc Duphily and the Carver Police Department arrested two men on drug and firearm charges following the execution of a search warrant.
Steven Farrell, 64, and Sean Healey, 38, both of Carver, were arrested and charged with various drug and firearm offenses after police carried out a search warrant at a residence on Marks Way early Friday morning.
On Feb. 16, at approximately 6:50 a.m., Carver Police officers, along with members of the Middleboro Police Department, Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Personnel, K-9 and BCI Unit executed the warrant after a months-long investigation.
Farrell was charged with possession of a Class B substance (cocaine), possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, possession of ammunition without a firearms identification card, and improper storage of a firearm without a firearms identification card.
Healey faces charges including possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute (crack cocaine, methamphetamine, meth, and cocaine) and possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute (fentanyl).
During the search, officers cleared the residence and arrested Farrell and Healey on-scene without incident.
The search resulted in the seizure of two digital scales, several clear plastic bags containing white powdery substances later identified as cocaine, crack cocaine, meth, and fentanyl, as well as $590 in cash, a shotgun, and ammunition.
Both suspects were transported to the Carver Police Department for booking and were arraigned in Wareham District Court on the same day.
