COVENTRY – A fire early Thursday morning in Coventry razed a two-story house and an attached auto repair garage, drawing a robust response from multiple fire departments.
The fire broke out at around 12:38 a.m.
Firefighters from Orleans, an Orleans Emergency unit, as well as Newport City, Newport Town, Irasburg, Glover, and Derby Line fire departments were all on scene.
Officials say all the occupants escaped unharmed before emergency responders arrived.
Electrical wiring is believed to have been the cause of the fire, which resulted in a complete loss of the property, vehicles and tools within the shop.
