NEW HAVEN — A routine traffic stop late Tuesday night led to the arrest of a Proctor woman on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.
At about 11:20 p.m., state troopers pulled over a vehicle on US Route 7 at Town Hill Road for several traffic violations.
The passenger, identified as Stephanie Barbagallo, 46, was found to have an active warrant related to a simple assault charge.
Barbagallo was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.
She was held for lack of $200 bail pending further proceedings.
