RUTLAND — A single-vehicle crash on US Route 4 left a Castleton woman with non-life threatening injuries early Monday morning.
Rebecca Muzzy, 60, was traveling eastbound near mile marker 14 when she lost control of her 2003 Honda Accord around 6:58 a.m., according to Vermont State Police.
The car veered off the dry road in clear weather conditions, struck an embankment, and overturned, coming to an uncontrolled rest.
Muzzy, who was wearing her seat belt, was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center and then to UVM Medical Center for treatment.
Her vehicle was declared totaled.
Vermont State Police were assisted by Regional Ambulance Service and West Rutland Fire Department in responding to the incident.
