FALMOUTH — Multiple gunshots were fired into an occupied residence at 39 Brick Kiln Rd on the evening of Feb. 15, Falmouth Police Department officials said.
Officers responded to the reports of gunfire at 8:55 p.m. and found that the home had been hit several times.
Although there were people in the house at the time of the shooting, no injuries were reported.
The Falmouth Police Detective Bureau, Patrol Division, and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation are conducting a joint investigation into the incident.
Early findings suggest that this was an isolated event, and there is currently no perceived threat to the community.
