MONTPELIER — A 63-year-old Montpelier man was arrested Feb. 10 following a physical altercation at a Main Street apartment building, according to local authorities.
Montpelier Police Department officers, including Officer Hunter Lane and Sergeant Christopher Quesnel, responded to the incident at 9:36 a.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered that an assault had occurred during a dispute related to drug sales.
The investigation led to the determination of probable cause and the subsequent arrest of the involved party for simple assault.
The identity of the individual has not been released.
