MANCHESTER — Police are investigating a burglary at Chen’s Garden, located at 956 Second Street, after responding to an emergency call on Feb. 13 at around 7:30 p.m.
The store manager, who was working downstairs in the restaurant, reported hearing noises from the apartment above, which occupies the second and third floors of the building.
Upon arrival, officers conducted a search of the premises but did not locate any suspects.
They did find signs of forced entry, and the tenants reported that several items were missing.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from an adjacent building, which showed two individuals dressed in all black fleeing the area shortly after the time of the incident.
