FITCHBURG — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Thayla Garcia, who has been missing since the early morning of Feb. 12.
Garcia was last seen departing from her residence on Highland Avenue at 5:54 a.m., heading outbound on foot along Summer Street.
She was dressed in dark-colored clothing at the time of her disappearance.
Originally from Worcester, officials believe she may be attempting to travel in that direction.
The Fitchburg Police Department urges anyone with information on Garcia’s whereabouts to contact them at 978-345-4355.
The community’s help is considered crucial in ensuring Garcia’s safe return.
